In 2014, GoodsForecast was awarded a contract for implementing its sales forecasting and planning system (GoodsForecast.Planning)

The goal of the project was to develop software to maintain an efficient, stable, and integrated sales planning process at all organizational levels, including:

• developing a unified approach to calculating the baseline forecast;
• clear delineation of responsibilities for making adjustments to the plan;
• maintaining a structured database of comments on adjustments;
• introducing a system-wide assessment of how the plan deviates from the baseline forecast;
• ensuring consistency and time limits for coordinating forecasts across different organizational levels;
• introducing a unified progress monitoring system for following up the current month’s plan.

The project was launched in early 2015 and the system is currently in commercial operation. The product’s functionality is being developed pursuant to the customer’s requirements.
