GoodsForecast.Supply Planning (output plan calculation automation)

GoodsForecast is implementing a project (consulting and software development) to automate the calculation of output plans at Cherkizovo Group's plants. The aim of the work was to create an automatic solution to distribute orders within 10 minutes while maintaining the same quality offered by the existing Excel tool (utilizing built-in models for handling optimization tasks).

Objectives:

Reduce the daily work time of specialists in distributing incoming orders across production sites.

Increase the stability and speed of the automatic production distribution model.

By implementing the optimization model in the industrial system (abandoning Excel), enable output planning for week and month horizons and including more factors and performance indicators in the optimization model.

By automating routine operations, reduce the impact of the human factor and increase the speed of training new employees.

Plans for future collaborations include:

Expansion of automatic scheduling horizons (week, month).
Inclusion of additional factors and optimizable indicators into the optimization model (movement towards direct economic optimization).
Implementation of similar projects for other business areas of Cherkizovo PJSC (pork production and meat processing).
