Company life

Look Inside: GoodsForecast's Corporate Culture and Traditions

Corporate culture has a strong influence on a company's results by setting the overall mindset and general principles. It's like that in any entity.

Our company has grown tremendously in size over the past year. With the arrival of new people and the growth of the management team, a transformation of the corporate culture is inevitable. And now we are faced with the challenge of preserving the chamber's sense of comfort and homeliness amidst this rapid growth and pursuit of results.

So what are the hallmarks of GoodsForecast? Openness to new things, love of technology and math, and a commitment to market leadership. There are traditions: celebrating company and employee birthdays, gather before holidays, celebrating success. There are informal hangouts by interests: quizzes, trips to the bar, board games. But that's just the cherry on the cake of corp culture. How we communicate on work-related moments is even more important.

We're flexible with floating start times, hybrid schedules, or full remote work where both larks and owls are comfortable. We have no bureaucracy and endless chain of approvals, so those who come to us from banks and government are very surprised at how quickly they can solve their issue.

We have an informal yet respectful atmosphere, there is no dress code (only at external meetings and events), no holywars, trolling and verbal aggression.

If we operate with typologies of corporate cultures, we have a rather intermediate variant between the family and team model, when there is no clear hierarchy and anyone can approach the director in a human way and discuss any issue.

Our company is accredited as an IT organization. On the one hand, this makes it easier for our employees to access various benefits and guarantees (mortgage, deferment from military service, etc.). On the other hand, it reduces anxiety about having to deal with these kinds of issues.

We are residents of Skolkovo, cooperate with the Supply Chain Council, and are developing a partner network. This adds to our "weight" as a player in the market, and it also increases opportunities for collaboration and networking with colleagues from other companies. So there's room for the extrovert too.

Answering the question "How do we do it?", we can say that positive thinking together with result orientation is the key to even the most unexpected and bold approaches, which ensures innovation and development.
